Elderberry Syrup
True story: Last winter was the worst flu season we have had in years. It went through our school like wildfire and both of our kids got it. Amazingly enough neither my husband nor I did. What we did do was take Elderberry Syrup and Cold and Flu chaser every few hours for the 8 days the flu was in our house. We also washed our hands often, drank water and got as good sleep as we could with sick kiddos in the house.
Suggested use: Two Tablespoons at first symptom of cold or flu, followed by one tablespoon every two hours until symptoms subside. Or, one tablespoon every two hours to prevent flu if it is present in house. Or, one tablespoon a day as preventative.
