About the Event

Are you ready to cultivate medicinal and edilbe plants for yourself and community? Are you ready to support the yourself, family and community with herbal medicine and fermented foods that grow all around us? Learn from Caroline and Taelor's experience creating and stewarding our 12 year old food forest along side her onsite community apothecary. The heart of our community, our forest garden is full of medicinal and edible plants that support the health and wellness of our community. We dream of every neighborhood having these resources to support our health, resilience and wellbeing.

This course will walk you through the process of starting and tending medicinal gardens, an introduction to propagation, harvesting, processing and storing techniques and herbal remedy making.  It includes cultivating soil and plants and working with the flows of nature and human systems.  I will introduce specific plants, their needs, how they work within the garden ecosystem. We will cover broad strokes on herbal energetics and actions and how they work to support our health and wellbeing.

All classes will be recorded and available for you to participate live and watch at your own pace. Each class includes activities to help you along your journey. Participants receive 20% off our shop to help you stock your home apothecary, seeds and plant starts.

Cost : Sliding Scale - $800 - 1,200. Payment plans available.
